On 10 & 11 Jul, we hosted the V & D Senior Mixed Fours tournament.  Congratulations to the winners:

1. Richmond LBC: Eric Leung, Kelvin Lai, Jenny Siu, Rainbow Lung
2. West Point Grey LBC: Ralph Roper, Elaine Rolston, Russ Boyd, Susan Boyd
3. Richmond LBC: Paul Choi, Josephine Lee, Lorraine Choi, Stanley Chow

On On Sat 7 Jul, we held our Huntley Mixed Australian Pairs tournament.  Congratulations to the winners:

1. Shirley Grimmett & David Crowe
2. Ralph Roper & Margit Hunt
3. Cathleen Rowlette & Andy Byrne

The 1st & 2nd place teams were essentially tied.  We had to use the number of won ends as a tie breaker to decide the ranking.

The weather held up nicely for these games!

On On Mon 2 Jul, we had our annual Canada Day celebration and Canada Cup tournament.  Congratulations to the winners:

2. Bill Sharp, Shirley Grimmett & Joan Cosar
3. Frank Kaweski, Sandra Webster & June Wing

The 2nd & 3rd place teams were essentially tied.  We had to use the number of won ends as a tie breaker to decide the ranking.

On Sat 23 Jun 2018, our club participated in the West Point Grey Fiesta Days parade.  This was followed by an open house at the club.  The weather was nice, and we all had a good time.

On Sat 16 Jun 2018, both men’s and women’s pairs tournaments were held. The winners were as follows:

On Sat 26 May, 12 teams participated in this annual tournament convened by Verle Kaweski.  Each team played 2 games north & south in the morning, and 1 game east & west after lunch.  Congratulations to the winners:

Mon 21 May 2018 was a beautiful day for lawn bowling and our annual Victoria Day Barbecue.  We had great turnout, and everything went without a hitch.
