Friends and Family Event 2025
Warm sunny weather greeted our fiends and family visitors for this second annual event. Many volunteers had spent time preparing and setting up the club for this successful day, and we were lucky to have Wade Grant, our local MP, throw a ceremonial bowl to open proceedings. In his speech he even intimated that he may wish to join the club! He was able to enjoy trying both lawn bowling and croquet, as were all our visitors. We have another fundraising event: on Thursday June 19 from 9 am to 11:30. The faculty and staff of our neighbouring West Point Grey Academy are coming to bowl as they do every year. The Ed Angel league will be on the west green so we will use the east green.
They pay very generously. If you would like to come and help out, please let me know
